Now that we’re back from our mini vacation, we’re thrilled to start the house hunting process. We’ve been renting for a few years and have been planning to buy for some time now. We aren’t city people, so moving to a more rural area just north of us is appealing. And hopefully we’ll get more bang for our buck (and some land)! I’ll be sharing a little dream home inspiration while we search and although we won’t get everything on our must-have list, I’m hopeful that we can find something that we can eventually turn into our maybe-forever home.
One of the top things on my list is vaulted ceilings. I know some people may think this is not a need. However, I’ve had vaulted ceilings my entire life (even in our apartment). I instantly feel overwhelmed and closed in when I go into a living room with low ceilings. Of course I don’t expect to have high and/or vaulted ceilings in every room – just the living room would be ideal. I’ve rounded up a few spaces that I’m loving right now, all with high vaulted ceilings.
