I recently spotted a set of “dipped” garden tools on pinterest, and decided to make them myself. It is one of the easiest DIY projects and gives great results. Here’s how I did it.

What you need: A set of garden tools with wooden handles, paint, leather cord, foam paintbrush.

Step 1: Apply 1-2 coats of paint on the tool handle. I decided to not tape off the area to give it a more “dipped” look. Let dry.

Step 2: Cut a small strip of leather cord and loop through the hole.

Step 3: Tie knot and trim extra. Start digging!
