After my existing bar cart failed to hold the weight of our liquor and wine, I decided to repurpose it and create a new one. After spotting this one at Ikea for such a steal, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. With a little gold spray paint, it is absolutely perfect in our tiny dining room corner. Here’s how I did it.

What you need: painter’s tape, drop cloth, and Best Paint Sprayer.

Step 1: Assemble your bar cart and place onto drop cloth or cardboard. If you’ve already added the wheels, just tape them off.

Step 2: Spray paint your cart in 1-2 even coats. Allow to dry.

Step 3: Add shelves, style and enjoy!
