I’ve created a few of these wall hangings, although with wooden beads instead of copper (here). To say I’m obsessed with them is a little bit of an understatement. The DIY process is pretty straight forward and only takes a short amount of time. Follow this tutorial to get started.

I bought all of my copper in pre-cut pieces and used almost 100 feet of rope. To keep my “beads” in place, I threw in a few hand stitches on the backside of the rope; since my rope was so thick I decided to do this in place of knots. Because it is heavy, I made mine while laying on the floor versus hanging on the wall.

Warning: They are addicting.
