Recipe | Vanilla-infused Sugar
One of my favorite details of our wedding was our homemade vanilla-infused sugar favors. It was easy and not too time-consuming compared to over favor options. And it was clear that it was a winner for our guests – we received so much positive feedback and many were left wanting more.
So two years later, I’ve decided to recreated it. It only took a short time and gets better in storage (the flavors really melt together). My favorite use for this sugar is a tiny bit added to my morning coffee. But really, there are so many possibilities – crumbled cake topper, hot chocolate, or anything that you may use sugar for!

Makes 4 cups
4 Cups Sugar
5 Whole Madagascar Vanilla Beans
- Slice your vanilla beans down the middle and scrape out the inside. Be sure to not waste any vanilla paste.
- Combine your vanilla paste and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Stir until there are no large clumps of vanilla. Sugar should be smooth with specs of vanilla throughout.
- Pour into storage canister and add vanilla pod for additional flavor.
